If you are thinking about entering the field of education or maybe you already have and are underwhelmed by what you have decided to do, this might be the book for you. Want to Build Awareness of Autism in Your Classroom?
ABC picture books are great at every level and this one is no exception. It is written from the point of view of a child with autism and provides some characteristics that are generally present in children with autism. This would open up a great conversation about autism in a general education classroom and is a good refresher for all teachers too.
