Our Favorite Products Take #1
3:00 AMWelcome to our monthly linky! During these summer months we will be taking a look at some of our featured author's favorite products! As creative teachers, we all know there are things we just LOVE and Teacher Authors are no exception! This month we will be looking at five of our Teacher Authors to see what products are their favorites and why-and to give you a chance to check the out as well!
Teacher Author #1: Exceptional Thinker's by Christy
Teacher Author #2: Primary on the Prowl by Crystal
This is one of my favorite classroom activities because the kids think they are working puzzles, but I know they are practicing their phonics skills. These puzzles can be placed in a phonics center time after time and the kids never lose interest!
Teacher Author #3: Big Ideas for Little Hands by Julie
Have you ever needed a quick warm-up activity to use during Guided Reading while you are getting the rest of the class settled into their activity? Well look no further, these cover up games are perfect to have your students immediately get started learning while you on your way to them. No more wasted time while they wait on you!
This pack is to help students with identifying and listening for beginning sounds. There are 5 different sheets for each letter sound so each student at your group can have a different sheet to practice the same skill.
Teacher Author #4: Draz Class by Sara
My favorite activity of course has to do with mixing two of my passions, reading and the Revolutionary War! I love Reading George Washington's socks aloud to my students and working through this book study with them. We read this after learning much about the war, so they had great background knowledge and enjoyed immersing themselves in this novel!
Teacher Author #5: The Best Days by Julie
This, by far, is my favorite product! I just love this product for a variety of reasons. To be honest, it is also one that I worked extremely hard on to complete as well. The reason I just love this product is because it opened my student's learning eye to so many concepts dealing with the characters in a variety of Mr. Putter texts. The versatility of use across the many texts of Mr. Putter is another reason I love this one! I was able to use 5 different texts with the same results-kids learning in a unique way-including theme! That was a wonderful surprise too! It was an overall fun activity and unique way for students to learn how to analyze the characters in a primary grade! Plus, coming soon will be Henry and Mudge Character pages for even more fun!
That's some of our very favorites! Be sure to stop by our linky on July 1st to check out even more Teacher Author favorites!
